Customer Projects
Origin Books has printed books for authors across every genre. The projects below show common use cases --- family memoirs, photography books, fiction series, and community cookbooks --- with the specifications and production details for each.

The author set up an online storefront for extended family purchases.

Full-Color Photography Book
A small publisher produced a 176-page hardcover photography book featuring Pacific Northwest landscape photography. Color accuracy and consistency across the full 250-copy print run were the primary production requirements.

Full-color photography books require files in CMYK color mode with correct ICC profiles and 300 DPI minimum image resolution. Coated paper provides sharper ink holdout and more accurate color reproduction than uncoated stock. Origin Books recommends a physical proof for any project where color accuracy matters. See the file preparation guide for specifications.
Fiction Series (Matched Volumes)
An independent mystery author printed the third volume in a series. The new book matched the trim size, paper stock, cover finish, and spine formatting of the first two volumes.
